This was a gimmick, they are your average not so good house band. Maybe I would have liked it if I had been drunk on the beach with a cocktail in my hand!!!!!!!
Hey Gimmick, Maybe you should stay drunk and, you'll listen to beter music. Squeeze still has more talent and sounds better than most of the crap some bands put out.
Saw Squeeze at the Mann Center 7/16. One of the best shows I have ever seen. I missed my chance to see them back in 1987 (I was 9). This made up for it. The ol' boys looked and sounded great!! If you get the chance to see them this time around, do not miss out. And Squeeze..More U.S dates please!!
omygosh... it's been a long time since I've heard that voice. such a great band! now I've got to go dig out the cd's....
I had never heard of them and then we were on our way thru SD when we stopped at the welcome center to use the rest room. We were looking at brochures when this guy came in and he was talking with the ladys at the desk. then he started singing for them. We thought it was kind of weird so when he left the ladies told us he was from a band called Squeeze and they were headed for CO for a concert. she told us we should run to the bus and get their autograph but we blew it off. So now I look them up and see they are quite popular and famous and here we were the only ones in the building and we didnt ask for an autograph.
