Squeeze to Sell New Songs Direct to Fans at Gigs

Squeeze have announced they will tour the UK in November and December - and offer fans instant post-gig recordings of each set via a 'pop-up shop'.

Founding members and songwriters Glenn Tilbrook and Chris Difford will play 22 nights (see below for full listings) and will move from the stage to the pop-up shop each night.

Fans will then be able to buy a recording of that evening's show which will include the first new Squeeze songs for 14 years.

It is not the first time the band has taken control of their own recordings; in 2010, they re-recorded many of their hits to sound as similar as possible to the original masters on an album cheekily called Spot The Difference.

I'm really looking forward to hearing new Squeeze songs. However, for those of us in the US who can't make the the hop over to the UK for the upcoming shows, it would be great if these shows were available to be purchased online!

Please, please, please!

Was at concert in Glasgow, had a brilliant night but didn't manage to stay and buy the cd. Is it possible to purchase the Glasgow gig online, does anyone know? Thanks
